Lesson 4 You can't win if you don't play

Sitting on the sidelines waiting for something to happen is always a losing propostion. In poker only playing ones cards is the surest way to lose against good players. In poker, not knowing what your table image is and being able to adjust your game appropriately is one way to get skinned alive. In life this is called drifting, in a negotiation its called leaving money on the table. In each situation, money and opportunites are lost.
